Welcome to my new Website!

Welcome, and hello!

My name is Kristina. I am launching this website as an important step in the pre-launch campaign for my devotional, The Found Mama.

I've learned so much through this process, and truth be told, there are more moving parts than I ever would have predicted. Truth be told again, it's been a tad overwhelming! I've been reading about how to successfully launch a new book, and a lot hangs on the first 30 days of sales. I have learned that the first step is to drum up as much interest as possible so that when the book is finally released, people are waiting to buy it! The alternative is to release the book first and then begin marketing the book and hoping for the best, hoping to find the people that want to read it.

I've been looking for the mamas who need to read my book for going on two years! I've been on Facebook and Instagram, detailing the writing process and sharing excerpts from the book. I've recently taken to TikTok to try my luck there. And then, I learn, I need a website and a newsletter because e-mails do not put me at the mercy of the digital beast known as "the algorithm."

So, that's a little of what I've been working on behind the scenes of this pre-launch campaign.

I am working on changing all of my handles to be cohesive to the new website, but it's a work in progress and I'm only allowed to change certain elements so many times within certain time frames, so. Forgive me for being all over the place as I'm figuring out several new things at the same time.
